Tiago Martins

Tiago Martins is a cross-media designer and researcher at the Computational Design and Visualization Lab. (CMS/CISUC) and invited assistant professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering of the University of Coimbra. He holds a PhD in Information Science and Technology from the University of Coimbra, and an MSc and BS in Design and Multimedia from the same university.

His main research interests include generative design, computational creativity, evolutionary computation, computer vision, and prototyping. He works in the convergence of design, art and computer science. The focus of his work lies in the development of computational generative systems for the creation of unexplored designs and artefacts.
