Filipe Assunção

Filipe Assunção is a PhD student, and a researcher at the Centre for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra (CISUC) since 2014, as a member of the Cognitive and Media Systems (CMS) group. He took his bachelor and masters degree in Computer Science at the University of Coimbra, and was a visiting researcher at the Natural Computing Research & Applications Group (NCRA), University College Dublin, Ireland. His main interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and NeuroEvolution. He is the creator of DENSER, and has authored and co-authored several articles in conferences and journals.
