António Leitão

António is currently enrolled on the Doctoral Program in Information Science and Technology at the University of Coimbra. He has previously completed a Bachelor and a Masters degrees at the same institution. He has also participated in several funded projects and continues to do so. His research interests are in Artificial Intelligence and Evolutionary Computation, particularly Genetic Algorithms and Genetic Programming. His current work on the Computational Design and Visualization Lab. focuses on Self-adaptive Algorithms and Nature-inspired setups such as Sexual Selection through Mate Choice and Island Models.
